Jennifer Aniston was making an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote her new film, Life Of Crime when Jimmy Kimmel confessed that he is a huge fan of Friends and had written a script of Friends fan fiction for them to take part in. "I loved the show so much I actually wrote some fan fiction. I wrote myself into it as Ross. I was wondering if you could do a scene from it with me?" Kimmel said. The skit was performed on an authentic re-creation of Monica's apartment from the TV series. Aniston seemed a little unwilling to participate at first. As the skit continued Kimmel and Aniston were joined by Aniston's Friends co-stars, Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow. 66TH Primetime Emmy Awards-Live Blog

Photo from: The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards Live Stream Facebook page

The television industry's night of nights is finally here! It's almost time for the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards to begin! Some favourites to win are Game Of Thrones, Breaking Bad and Orange Is The New Black and there will be a special tribute by Billy Crystal for the late Robin Williams, which I am dying to see! Right now it is 8:16am where I am in Sydney, Australia and I am trying to find a live stream so I can actually do this live blog of The Emmys for you! Unfortunately none of the free to air TV networks in Australia are airing The Emmys live, which is very disappointing. You'd think they would considering a lot of the shows nominated are broadcast over here as well. If I can't find a live stream of the whole awards I'll be able to bring you a live blog of The Emmys red carpet at least! While I blog I will be putting Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) first and then Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) second. So my live blog of The Emmys at The Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles starts...now!

8:40am AEST/3:40pm PDT I just saw Ed O'Neil from Modern Family on The Emmys red carpet! I'm hoping Modern Family takes out the award for Outstanding Comedy Series again!

9am AEST/4pm PDT Apparently Sarah Hyland from Modern Family is a fashion favourite so far for this year's Emmys.

9:05am AEST/4:05pm PDT Stephen Colbert from The Colbert Report has now arrived on The Emmys red carpet! He is discussing taking over from David Letterman next year and says that he chose to take the gig because he wanted to do something different.

9:14am AEST/4:14pm PDT A true Hollywood legend Jon Voight has arrived on The Emmys red carpet!

9:21am AEST/4:21pm PDT Debra Messing is in the house at The Emmys!

9:33am AEST/4:33pm PDT One of the hot topics at The Emmys seems to be the series finale of Breaking Bad.

9:39am AEST/4:39pm PDT Julia Louis-Dreyfus seems to be the staunch favourite to win Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Veep. I would love Julia Louis-Dreyfus to win! I love her. She is such a great TV talent.

9:46am AEST/4:46pm PDT Jesse Tyler-Ferguson from Modern Family has just arrived at The Emmys! Can Modern Family win 5 Emmys in a row for Outstanding Comedy Series? If it does it will beat Fraiser's record!

9:52am AEST/4:52pm PDT I have just seen Julia Roberts and Sofia Vergara on The Emmys red carpet! They both look stunning! I think Sofia Vergara's dress is my favourite so far. She always wears something classy and gets it right!

9:56am AEST/4:56pm PDT For those who didn't already know Seth Myers is hosting this year's Emmys. The official ceremony is about to start in a few minutes so hopefully I can find a live stream to bring the rest of the show to you!

10:19am AEST/5:19pm PDT Louie C.K. wins the Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for his TV show, Louie.

10:23am AEST/5:23pm PDT I thought Julie Bowen or Mayim Bialik would win that Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

11:45am AEST/6:45pm PDT The Emmy Award for Most Outstanding Television Movie goes to Normal Heart, which starred Julia Roberts and Mark Ruffalo.

11:48am AEST/6:48pm PDT It wouldn't be an Emmy Awards show without a "so many Jews work in Hollywood" joke would it Sarah Silverman? Congrats on your Emmy win by the way!

12pm AEST/7pm PDT The Emmy Award for Most Outstanding Variety Show goes to The Colbert Report! Congratulations to Stephen Colbert! 12:59pm AEST/7:59pm PDT The Emmy Award for Most Outstanding Drama Series goes to Breaking Bad. Wow! I thought with the popularity of Game Of Thrones that it would win. I think Breaking Bad probably won because it was their final year though right?

I am stoked that Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Modern Family won Emmys this year! I honestly thought Game Of Thrones would walk away with something. My fashion pick of the night was Sofia Vergara. Her white dress was so beautiful! A special thanks goes to NBC for their live stream of the 66th Primetime Emmys, without this I would not have been able to bring you this live blog. Until next year folks!

11:10am AEST/6:10pm PDT: I spy Katy Perry and Katy Pery takes out the VMA for Best Female Video for Dark Horse. I unfortunately didn't get to actually hear Ariana Grande's opener because my live stream wouldn't let me. I will watch it properly later but it looked great! So stoked that Katy Perry won Best Female Video! Katy Perry is one of my favourite singers ever!

11:23am AEST/6:23pm PDT: Well that's annoying I can hear Taylor Swift's performance but couldn't hear Ariana Grande's! :(

11:28am AEST/6:28pm PDT: Ed Sheeran won the Best Male VMA for Sing.

12pm AEST/7pm PDT: Usher is now performing on the VMA stage!

12:09pm AEST/7:09pm PDT: New Zealand native, Lorde wins Best Rock Video for Royals! I kind of expected that considering that it has been one of the most popular songs this year.

12:26pm AEST/7:26pm PDT: The VMA for Artist To Watch goes to Fifth Harmony and it looks like the VMA's are doing a small tribute to the late Robin Williams! Well done guys!

1:15pm AEST/8:15pm PDT: Beyonce accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award with Jay-Z and Blue Ivy! Almost had me in tears! Such a touching moment! There's only a handful of people who I think are deserving of a Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and Beyonce is definitely one of them!

1:23 pm AEST/8:23pm PDT: Well, folks it looks like that's it for the 2014 MTV VMA's! It was really fun live blogging for y'all! Hope you enjoy reading it! A special thanks should go to MTV for their All Access live stream without which I would not have been able to do this.

My final assessment of this year's show is that I really enjoyed watching it, although it was a little tame without Miley Cyrus's twerking. My favourite outfit of the night was Katy Perry's denim dress and without a doubt my favourite performance was Beyonce's!

Watch this space tomorrow by the way, because I will be live blogging The Emmys from 8am AEST so that's 3pm PDT! I want to hear all your opinions, comments etc on this year's MTV VMA's so go crazy in the comment box below!

Movie Review: Begin Again

Photo from: Begin Again Facebook page

Star Rating 4/5: ★★★

I saw the film, Begin Again on Friday, which is written and directed by John Carney and stars Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, Adam Levine, Hailee Steinfeld and Catherine Keener. I really enjoyed the movie because it was much better than I was anticipating. It is a comedy/drama about Dan Mulligan [Mark Ruffalo] a record producer, who is struggling both at work and with his personal life. He gets a second chance when he comes across British singer and song-writer, Gretta [Keira Knightley] singing in a New York bar and offers to produce an album with her. After much persuasion Gretta agrees and life in New York City starts looking up for Gretta too, after her messy break up with her musician boyfriend, David Kohl [Adam Levine].

I'm a bit of a music buff so that's what drew me to see the film in the first place and I also love Mark Ruffalo. I haven't seen him in anything in a while so it was nice. One thing that really surprised me about the movie is that Keira Knightley can sing and she's actually really good! The film is about music and a record producer so I expected a lot of music to be used in the film and for it to be important to the story and it is. The music suits the film really well because a lot of it is music sung by Keira Knightley, especially for the movie. I personally thoroughly enjoyed the music in the film and Adam Levine from Maroon 5 singing in the movie every so often is an added bonus for me, since I'm a Maroon 5 fan. The music in the film definitely does the movie justice and it is used in exactly the right way.

The movie kind of sticks it to record company executives and how they sometimes exploit their artists because in one scene Gretta is negotiating with the record company bosses about how much profit the record label will get from her album. I haven't seen any movies with both Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo in it before but I thought they worked well together and their characters had a believable connection.

The storyline is very meaningful and has a certain sweetness to it because it has a good message about second chances. Without giving too much away, Gretta and Dan both manage to turn over a new leaf in their lives. Overall, Begin Again is a really great movie with a mix of comedy, drama and music all rolled into one. If you like movies with a great soundtrack then you will love this film because in some scenes I was actually tapping my toes to the music and if you like films about music you will enjoy it too. The movie really exceeded my expectations. I honestly thought it would be a mediocre film but it was really entertaining, funny and sweet.

If any of you have seen the film as well I'd love to know what you thought of it to so please feel free to leave your comments in the comment box below!

Kylie Minogue has dropped her biggest hint yet that she could be doing a guest appearance on Neighbours, the Aussie soap that made her famous after almost 30 years for the show's 30th anniversary next year. Minogue, who played mechanic, Charlene Mitchell tweeted "So...I bought overalls today. #overalls". The tweet comes after Neighbours producers called for her and her former on-screen husband, Scott Robinson, played by Jason Donovan to make a guest appearance for the anniversary. Their on-screen son, Daniel, played by Tim Phillips has recently joined the Neighbours cast, which Minogue said might be enough for her to return to the soap. "Maybe I'll have to get back into it now and keep an eye on my son" Minogue said.

Williams was last seen alive by his wife on Sunday night. She retired for the evening and left their San Francisco home at 10:30am the next day, thinking that he was still asleep in a different room. Later that day Williams personal assistant became concerned after he failed to respond to knocks at his door. His personal assistant found him clothed, slightly suspended and in a seated position with a belt around his neck. The belt was secured between the closed closet door and the door frame. In the aftermath of her father's death Robin Williams daughter, Zelda has been experiencing some negativity on her social media accounts such as Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr. "I will be leaving this account for a bit while I heal and decide if I'll be deleting it or not. In this difficult time, please try to be respectful of the accounts of myself, my family and my friends. Mining our accounts for photos of dad, or judging me on the number of them is cruel and unnecessary" the 25-year-old commented on her Instagram. Williams also spent time on Twitter fighting critics who were posting mean comments about her father's suicide.

Are Ariana Grande and Big Sean dating?

RIP to Hollywood legend Robin Williams!

So I know it's been a few months since I have written a new blog post. To be honest I haven't got any excuse except laziness but that's all about to change. I have had some new inspiration from the death of beloved Hollywood actor, Robin Williams. I know that might sound funny to some people and you may think how can someone's death inspire you?...Well I'm an entertainment news writer and when something big like this happens in the entertainment world and all of Hollywood bands together in a really positive way to remember someone it reminds me why I like entertainment journalism so much. There are so many talented people in the entertainment industry that I admire and being an entertainment journalist means that I get to share that with people at times and this is one of those times.

By now everyone is aware that the great Hollywood actor and comedian, Robin Williams died at his home in San Francisco today. My friend messaged me to tell me the news and I was in disbelief. There has only been one other person in recent history, whose death I have reacted to in that way and that is of course, Michael Jackson. I grew up watching so many of Robin Williams films like Jumanji, Mrs Doubtfire and Hook. He made the world laugh and brought so much joy to families worldwide with his movies. Hollywood has truly lost one of its greatest because Mr Williams was a comedic genius and there are actually no words for me to describe how amazing an actor he was. My personal favourite Robin Williams film is Mrs Doubtfire. It makes me laugh everytime I watch it and it's actually one of my favourite films. I asked people on Facebook what their favourite Robin Williams movies are and these are the top five results...

1. Jumanji - (1995)
